Inspector Ratnakar Kashinath Mahatre of the state security board was caught by the anti-corruption bureau while accepting a bribe of Rs 12,000 from a private security company.

Mumbai, Feb8, 2012(TNN): Inspector Ratnakar Kashinath Mahatre of the state security board was caught by the anti-corruption bureau while accepting a bribe of Rs 12,000 from a private security company on Tuesday. Inspector Ratnakar Kashinath Mahatre has been booked under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

According to the ACB, he threatened a private security firm that he would send a negative report against them if they failed to pay monthly bribe of Rs 2,000.
